EXPERIMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Exploring new ways of mark making, during the silk-screen printmaking process I became fascinated by the way the paint used to print the images can be applied and removed in many different ways. I enjoyed the idea of the paint half being washed off the large screen where it starts to run and bleed across the surface over the screens stencils. I wanted to experiment with using this screen as the piece of art itself, rather than it just being the vessel where the prints are created.
